Hi visibility patrols

Recently some vehicles had been broken into in the car park on Oaklandsgate, which is located off Green Lane.

Unfortunately, some people had left items behind in their vehicles, which were on show, this had then attracted thieves to target their vehicle. 

Due to this happening, we have stepped up our patrols in that area, by showing a visible presence and to deter would be thieves from coming back to the area.

We advise that it would be best practise, if you are leaving your vehicle unattended for any period of time, then please do not leave any items of value behind, as this will only encourage thieves to help themselves to your property.
